Our Management Team

Dark Horse Systems is a progressive IT services firm, headed by a management team that combines technical savvy with business wisdom.

Elie O’HanDirector


Elie is our seasoned business veteran. He brings a range of skills and experiences to DHS gained over more than 30 years in managing commercial enterprises and Information Technology. Starting as a Systems Analyst and Programmer and progressing to perform in positions of Country and Regional Management, General Management, CIO, Major Business Transactions, Sales Management in Software, Hardware, Professional Services and Consultancy. He is currently serving on the boards of Dark Horse Systems and Accelerator Investments, as well as being Board Chairman of NOAH Consulting.

Troy Garner General Manager (Operations)


With a passion for exceptional customer service, Troy is always focused on the core reason why companies require IT – to help grow their business.

Over 15 years of experience in the IT Managed Services Industry, gained from a range of areas from hardware and software engineering to system architecture and project management. With a number of leading industry certifications, coupled with a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification, Troy is a dedicated professional in the field. He has consulted on, architected, and delivered complex solutions for local government and corporate entities.

In the Managed Services space, a recurring key career highlight has been to combine exceptional account management skills with technical expertise to ensure the customer has the best experience possible, either in the delivery of a project, issue resolution or managed service.


Will Thomas General Manager (Client Services)


A key member of the Dark Horse Systems team and senior member of management, bringing years of industry experience and a wealth of knowledge in aligning IT systems with business objectives.

Will’s background includes a strong technical presence with a transition to business development and innovation, allowing for high level discussions among CEOs and ICT management alike, while still maintaining in depth knowledge and capability of the delivery phase of a project.

Further responsibilities include improving DHS internal processes and working closely with sales, procurement, technical teams and senior project managers, in order to continually improve the customer experience.


Nicholas O’Han –  Director (Finance)


With formal qualifications in Economics (Bachelor Degree) and Commerce (Master Degree), as well as being a member of ATIA, Nicholas brings a wealth of financial management experience and energy to DHS, having worked in the area of technical industry and Federal Government support programs since 2001. Nicholas is a founding member of DHS and, prior to the formation of DHS, worked closely with executives and technical staff of several multi-national organizations in advising and vetting financial aspects of high-tech projects.

During this time, he was successful in highlighting areas where focused financial management and oversight resulted in securing millions of dollars in benefits for development and operational projects.

Nicholas is an avid mountaineer, having undertaken several treks in Nepal and summiting peaks at more than 6000m, as well as being focused on physical fitness as a necessary part of life.


Jason Jarvis –  Senior Commercial Manager


Jason is an astute and well-versed business professional, with far more years of experience (20+) than he cares to admit, in the Information Technology, Retail, Finance and other diverse Industries.

He is an open communicator who is able to relate to a range of people and has honed these skills over time, to always focus on ensuring client success in using IT services.

A recurring theme throughout Jason’s career has been one of always putting the client first, and as he is a big believer in the concept of “success breeds success”, the journey for Jason always starts with the client.


Diego Guirola Sales & Procurement


Since completing his business degree, Diego has spent many years working specifically in IT procurement, bringing his commercial skills to the technology space. During this time, he has focused on establishing mutually beneficial working relationships with Australia’s key information technology distributors. With an end focus on customer satisfaction, Diego’s demonstrated capacity to negotiate with vendors gives Dark Horse clients access to a wide range of hardware and licensing products at the most competitive prices. On a business level, he has succeeded in driving strategic procurement and sales initiatives that have resulted in efficient business processes that he continues to manage and improve.

Working closely with Project Managers, Diego’s commercial perspective, enthusiasm and dogged determination to achieve the best results ensures projects of all sizes are delivered on time and within budget.

On a personal level, he has a strong passion for the industry, keeping abreast of innovations, developments and new products and is the voice and drive behind the Dark Horse blog and social media pages.

A fitness and outdoor enthusiast, you can be sure to catch Diego at a local CrossFit box after work or a peaceful bushwalk on the weekends.
