Microsoft Office 365 Services Outage 29th – 30th January 2019
We are aware that Microsoft Office 365 experienced some issues overnight and has been down globally this morning, resulting in many users being unable to login in to Office 365, including here in Australia.
The statement from Microsoft on the root cause of the issue is that a portion of third-party managed network infrastructure that facilitates authentication requests is degraded, affecting access to one or more Microsoft Office 365 Services.
The current status is that Microsoft have moved the Office 365 services to an alternate network provider and they are slowly being restored to affected users. They are continuing to work on remediating the issues for all remaining users impacted and they expect services to be fully restored to all users in the very near future.
